initiArt Magazine is a project launched by S. initiatives -- Curatorial & Art Consultancy in summer 2009 as an online magazine specialized on modern and contemporary art.

Based in Paris, however, initiArt Magazine extends its vision beyond any geographical limit. Believing that there is no boundary in this world, we share and breathe in the same air called Art.

Interviews of artists and key players of the art world constitute the major section of our magazine. We enjoy meeting and talking to artists, and it's our greatest pleasure to share these conversations with you.

initiArt Magazine proposes, in each issue, a special topic around which interviews, reviews, investigations will be conducted. Of equal importance is one single artist in focus, chosen for the challenge s/he attempts to bring to the art world. We bring in artists from all over the world. They are exciting, courageous, generous, open, and YOUNG.

Selina Yin Yin TING

With a unique cultural background equally immersed in both Chinese and Western traditions, Selina is a curator and a specialist in contemporary art with 7 years of professional experiences both in Hong Kong and France. Stationed in Paris since 2005, she has a network traversing the Chinese, Asian and Western art world. In the last 4 years, she has published extensively on her research projects as well as on general issues regarding art and culture.
